The 2012 3rd Annual Tri-State Diversity & Leadership Conference aims to providing a platform for dialogue on inclusion and diversity-related issues that impact this region. "Wind of Change", as this year's theme indicates, will provide participants the opportunity to share best practices and strategies to formulate integrated diversity initiatives that link business goals to workplace, marketplace and community diversity objectives.
We will also recognize the contributions of numerous corporate, small-business, academic and community leaders who have championed the value of diversity as a business imperative in our state. Their leadership has fostered organizational change, instilled commitment, encouraged advocacy, and sparked innovation that have positively impacted the work environment and health of our communities.
Through a series of panel discussions, keynote addresses and interactive sessions, participants will explore corporate practices, leadership skills, communication strategies and outreach initiatives intended to leverage the benefits of diversity initiatives. The goal of the Tri-State Diversity & Leadership Conference is to tap into and share the "Wind of Change" ethos.
