Medina Jett, JD, MBA
Founder and President
Integrated Compliance Solutions Group, LLC

Medina Jett is the founder and president of Integrated Compliance Solutions Group, LLC (“ICSGroup”) which she founded in 2008. With offices in downtown Hartford and New York City, ICSGroup is a boutique regulatory compliance consulting firm that provides compliance services and guidance to the financial services industry, particularly hedge funds, private equity funds, broker dealers, banking institutions and insurance companies. ICSGroup currently employs 8 people. In 2015 ICSGroup was named the Best Small Business by the Metro Hartford Alliance and the Harford Business Journal based on revenue growth, innovation and community involvement.

Medina is an attorney by training with over 26 years of legal, compliance and operations experience in the financial services industry. Prior to launching ICSGroup, Medina was the Chief Compliance Officer at The Hartford. Prior to that role, she served as the Chief Compliance Officer at both Cigna Retirement & Investment Services and its acquiring company Prudential Retirement. She has also held the role of Head of Claim Management at Aetna Group Insurance and prior to that served as counsel in Aetna’s law department. Medina began her career as a securities attorney in private practice.

Medina earned a BA from Wesleyan University in 1987, a JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 1990. Proving that it’s never too late to learn, Medina later earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business in 2008. She also holds Series 7 and Series 24 securities licenses. She is currently a participant in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program which is an initiative by Goldman Sachs in partnership with Babson College to help selected small businesses reach their growth potential.
